CAT SHOW REGISTRATIONS UK FEDERATION FIFE

 

FIFe Show Classes

All classes are subdivided by breed, variety (colour) and sex.

OPEN JUDGING CLASSES
Class 1 EUROPEAN CHAMPION (Prize of Honour)
  Open to entire cats which have already received the title 'FIFe European Champion'. The exhibit will receive a report marked 'Prize of Honour' and will no longer be classified.
Class 2 EUROPEAN PREMIER (Prize of Honour)
  Open to neutered cats, which have already obtained the title 'European Premier' The exhibit will receive a report marked 'Prize of Honour' and will no longer be classified.
Class 3 GRAND INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION (CACE)
  Open to entire cats, which have already received the title 'Grand International Champion'. In this class a CACE is awarded.
Class 4 GRAND INTERNATIONAL PREMIER (CAPE)
  Open to neutered cats, which have already obtained the title 'Grand International Premier'. In this class a CAPE is awarded.
Class 5 INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION (CAGCIB)
  Open to entire cats, which have already received the title 'International Champion'. In this class a CAGCIB is awarded.
Class 6 INTERNATIONAL PREMIER (CAGPIB)
  Open to neutered cats, which have already obtained the title 'International Premier'. In this class a CAGPIB is awarded.
Class 7 CHAMPION (CACIB)
  Open to entire cats, which have already received the title 'Champion'. In this class a CACIB is awarded.
Class 8 PREMIER (CAPIB)
  Open to neutered cats which have already obtained the title 'Premier'. In this class a CAPIB is awarded.
Class 9 OPEN (CAC)
  Open to entire cats, aged 10 months or older during the show, and who do not yet have a FIFe title. In this class a CAC is awarded.
Class 10 NEUTER (CAP)
  Open to all neutered cats, aged 10 months or older during the show, and who do not yet have a FIFe title. In this class a CAP is awarded.
Class 11 JUNIORS 6-10 MONTHS
  Open to all cats, aged 6 months during the show, but not yet 10 months old.
Class 12 KITTENS 3-6 MONTHS
  Open to all cats, aged 3 months during the show, but not yet 6 months old.
Class 14 DOMESTIC CATS
  Open to all non-pedigree cats.

 

BREEDING & REGISTRATION CLASSES- only enter class 13a/13b if so instructed by the FB Breeding Commission -
Class 13a NOVICE CLASS
  A cat can only be exhibited in the "Novice" class at a minimum age of 10 months in its own country after having been checked by the National Breeding Committee with regard to FIFe's Breeding and Registration Rules. The judges must be informed in writing of the reason why the exhibit is in this class. A novice can only be exhibited once in the "Novice" class. Two signatures of different judges are obligatory. The novice cat must obtain the qualification "EXCELLENT" respectively "I" for non- recognised breeds in order to authorise registration.
Class 13b CONTROL CLASS
  A cat can be checked in the Control class at the request of the National Breeding Committee or at the request of the breeder/exhibitor. In this class cats are checked by two International FIFe judges and this may be done before the official judging starts. The show organiser must provide the judges with a written explanation as to why the cat is presented in this class.
